This program is a two week seminar in August organized by The Heyman Center at Oxford University, England. The seminar covers capital formation systems and corporate governance rules and regulations in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Japan, China and other jurisdictions. The seminar also includes visits to the London offices of various international law firms so that students can learn first-hand about recent cross-border transactions and meet leading practitioners. Students may earn up to 2 credits upon completion of a supervised research paper when they return to Cardozo. Students from other professional and graduate schools may attend and receive academic credit in accordance with their home institutions’ rules and regulations. There are no pre-requisites.
